​Musicians’ Workshop

The workshop is open to players with a suggested minimum of Grade 5 and is principally aimed at giving musicians a grounding in the techniques and skills required in playing for dancing.

It will cover:

• Pleasing the dancers, regardless of your playing ability level

• Inspiring the dancers through drive and lift

• Exploring ways to enthuse the dancers through tune selection, arrangements and interpretation

• Performing as a group

• Maximising your enjoyment in playing for dancing
