Scottish Country Dancing –
For fun, fitness and friendship

The Branch runs classes and dances for beginners and experienced dancers. We have several classes and dances for young people too. The prize-winning London Branch demonstration team provides displays of Scottish dance all over the S.E. and is available to make your function go with a swing!

NEWS

  • There are places available on our Musicians’ workshop led by Graham Berry. This takes place on Saturday 27th April at St Columba’s, Pont Street with the chance to play for the evening dance. All musicians welcome and you can pay on the day! See here for more details.
     
  • The RSCDS Health Strategy has been developed in response to the increasing evidence of the positive health benefits of regular, moderate and intense activity. To find out more and to view the Health Strategy Pack contents click here.

  • The RSCDS now has a Facebook page and YouTube channel.
     
  • The Branch has a Facebook page (30/9/11). Click the “Like” button at the top of this page to join us on Facebook.
     
  • The London Branch have been given special permission by her daughter Jo Chima, to whom we are indebted, to show all 34 of Pat Batt’s poems, from her five volumes, in stages. Visit monthly from September 2011.

    The London Branch runs a large number of classes throughout the year. Some of these are regular classes during term-time, others are advanced technique and classes for young people.
