Davinia Miln teaches the beginners and improvers class, providing an introduction to basic steps and formations for new dancers while supporting improvers to develop their technique and general dancing skills.

You don’t need any special clothes or shoes to begin with, just wear something comfortable and soft, flat, light shoes and you don’t have to bring a partner either!

Teacher: Davinia Miln
Musicians:  Adam Brady, Ian Cutts, Yvonne McGuinness

To help with administration we ask dancers to pre-pay online via this link no later than the evening before the class. If this is not feasible, we will accept payment by card or by cash at the class. Please call Joanne on 07747617953 with any queries.

If possible, please do use one of the cashless methods to help contain spread of COVID-19.

NEW STARTERS & RETURNERS: This class is for regular attenders, usually starting in September. During the year, new starters and returners may attend one class free, where they will be able to try out one or two dances, then watch the rest of the session. They will then be asked to pay for a block of five classes, to show their intention to attend regularly.

REELERS & BALL/CEILIDH/WEDDING ATTENDEES: This class is not suitable for people who wish to take only one or two classes. Private tuition sessions can be arranged, so please do get in touch via the classes coordinator.
