Burns Ceilidh Dance 2018

7.00 – 10.45 p.m. (doors open 6.30 p.m.)

This is a great opportunity to enjoy with your friends and family a traditional Burns Supper along with the fun of Scottish music and ceilidh dancing. There will be haggis (including a splash of whisky), neeps and tatties, piped in and addressed in the immortal way.

The dance programme will include the Gay Gordons, Dunnet Head, Kelvingrove Two Step, Jig to the Music, A Highland Welcome, Canadian Barn Dance, My Love She’s but a Lassie Yet, Rosa Waltz, Dashing White Sergeant, The Boston Two Step, The Eightsome Reel, St Bernard’s Waltz, The Virginia Reel, Lambeth Walk, Britannia Two Step, Bluebell Polka, Be Seeing You, Strip the Willow (Orcadian Style) Extras: Swedish Masquerade, London Celebration. No experience necessary – all dances will be called and walked through. No need to bring a partner.

Admission: RSCDS Members £16, non-members £20, Students (with student card) and Spectators £8, All children under 16: Free (includes haggis supper – vegetarian option available -with a glass of wine). All dances will be walked through. All tickets to be purchased on the door (cash only).
