Richmond Beginners and Improvers Class

The Richmond class is set to restart on Wednesday 22nd September, from 7.30-9.30pm.

Due to building work, classes for the first month or so will take place at the:
Whittaker Ellis Suite, Old Town Hall, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond TW9 1TP, which is about 10 minutes walk from the station towards Richmond Bridge. For further information, please contact Judith Jones, the Richmond class teacher, on

Wednesdays from 7.30 – 9.30pm during term time.

An introduction to basic steps and formations for new dancers while supporting others to develop their technique and general dancing skills.

In line with recommended practice, we are trying to limit the amount of cash handling and have introduced two new methods of payment – prepayment through the website, or payment by card in most places.

Classes usually take place at Richmond Library Annexe, Quadrant Road, Richmond TW9 1DH. This is about 5 minutes walk from the Oddfellows hall and similar from the station. However, please note the temporary change of venue mentioned above.

7.30 – 9.30pm

Cost: £6 per class. RSCDS London Branch is pleased to be able to offer payment by card facility at dances and most classes (where there is also the possibility of booking and paying online). In order to minimise cash handling it would be appreciated if you could pay this way if at all possible.
