A little Scotch in Harrow

An award winning team of dancers from the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society gave a dancing display for over 150 people at the London Branch’s annual picnic dance held in the grounds of Harrow School on Saturday 28th June.

Under warm blue skies there were reels, jigs and strathspeys for dancers of all ages who danced to the music of David Hall’s Scottish Country Dance Band. Pictured are picnic goers stepping out in the favourite Eightsome Reel.


	”This has been a really delightful afternoon “ said RSCDS London Branch Chairman Jeff Robertson “ its great to see so many families and people of all ages having so much fun at Scottish Dancing, we’ve all enjoyed today very much”.




	Recently some senior members of London Branch along with members of the Demonstration Team helped to film a short Scottish Country Dancing “lesson” for the NHS Choices website promoting the health benefits of Scottish Country Dancing particularly for retired people.
