The Branch runs an annual Day School each October. This takes place at Lady Margaret School, Parson’s Green, SW6. There are morning and afternoon classes with an optional afternoon workshop, followed by an evening ceilidh. There is also a Musicians’ class.

This year the Day School will take place on Saturday 18th October, 2008. Teachers will be Eric Finley, Mary Murray and Rachel Wilton, with musicians Barbara Manning, Ian Muir and Jennifer Wilson. Optional classes in step dancing/highland with Joan Desborough, A Taste of Foss with Maureen Campbell and Music - a help or hindrance with Muriel Johnstone.

The musicians’ workshop will be led by Muriel Johnstone.

There will also be an evening ceilidh, dancing to the music of Ian and Judith Muir.
