The Marian Anderson Scottish Dance Band has been in its present format for seven years, and all the musicians have a wealth of experience playing with many of Scotland's top bands.

The Band is in popular demand all over the UK and is well travelled overseas, with Australia, Malaysia, South Africa, Indonesia, America, Italy, Austria and France being just a few of the countries to have hosted their music.

Marian and the Band regularly record for BBC Radio Scotland's “Take the Floor” and have released eight CDs of their music. In 2006 they were voted Scottish Dance Band of the Year at the Scots Trad Music Awards.

The usual line-up is lead accordion, second accordion, piano and drums.
