Branch Info

The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS) has been promoting Scottish Dance all over the world for over 80 years. Its London Branch was the first to be formed outside Scotland. Today the Branch runs classes and dances where you can join in the fun of Scottish Dance. We also hold classes and dances for young people to introduce them to Scottish dancing. We sell books and music via our Branch bookstall, we publish a quarterly magazine called “The Reel” and our prize-winning demonstration team give displays of Scottish Dance all over the Southeast at events, ceilidhs and private functions. In 2010 we celebrated our 80th anniversary with a series of special dances and events.
