This will be taught by both Barbara Martlew and Davinia Miln, working together to introduce new dancers to basic steps and formations while supporting others to develop their technique and general dancing skills.

You don’t need any special clothes or shoes to begin with, just wear something comfortable and soft, flat, light shoes and you don’t have to bring a partner either!

We are fortunate to have Jane Ng (piano) and Ian Cutts (fiddle) as our class musicians.

Scottish Country Dancing is a very sociable activity and to get the most out of this form of dancing it is best to learn the basic steps and formations so come along and give it a go.  It is a great way of keeping fit, and keeping your mind active.  Above all, Scottish Country Dancing is fun!!
